Title: Re: Osprey inflight 魚鷹(飛行) Post by isaac_chan on Jan 30th, 2004, 1:59am Hi Daniel, Wonderful shot under a cloudy day. I was at TBT on 23/1 and took serveral photos of birds in flight, but I couldn't get as much contrast and detail as you. Do you have any tips for us as reference? |

Hi Isaac, I would suggest you to use M mode for action shots to avoid the wrong metering from changing light of background & foreground. For white object in sunny day and using DSLR, you should also reduce the exposure by -2/3 ~ -1 depending on the level of white object. In cloudy day, 0 or -1/3 would be enough. Anyway, you can make use of your Nikon body for metering mid-tone object as it should be more accurate than my 10D in my own experience. Hope this help. Daniel ::) |
