It was too easy to approach, not scared by motor vehicles. It isn't as shy as it should be. Most birders think it is an escaped or buddists released cage bird. Just as those Diamond Doves found near Bride's Pool.

The behaviour of this bird is entirely typical of the species in HK. Early morning forays, unobtrusive and approachable.

I don't think there is any question that it is not wild.

Sorry, I meant I don't think there is any significant possibility that it is ex-captive.
