#1 #3 has been cropped !
I am also a beginner in digiscoping. I bought it two months ago.
The eyepiece of my scope is 30X (Swarovski), the adaptor is also Swarovski.
I use 內紅點 to locate the subject quicker (which is attached to the adapter )
A 3X magnifying glass was attached to the LCD in order to see the image more clear and use as 遮光罩.
I always use ISO 100 , #1 #2 is auto-focusing. #3 is manual focusing because the bird is moving.

I hope you can also share your experience with me !

Where do you get your 3X magnifying lens. I am using a 10X lens also acting as sun cover. It is too powerful and the image is enlarged too much with dots on the LCD mon. shown. I notice that the bird must be relativerly close ( within 10m ) in order to have good picture. How far was the gray wigtail from you? i am rather fustrated that I get blur images if tbe object is more than 10m away. By the way, what do you mean by 內紅點?

3X magnifying len is bought in "鴨 Liu" Street. Actually the bird is not close, about ~ 10m . At the beginning I was not intended to shot that bird, but no other bird around me so I tried to test the len by zoom and without zoom. So #1 is cropped and #2 no crop !
內紅點 is a Image locating System. That is 瞄準器 of a gun. With that instrumentation you can locate the bird in about 2-3 seconds. ( It takes me ~ 30 s without it , sometimes even more )
( $ 160 each)

Thx cywong ,T M Siu !
