brown/golden tertial edge,  thicker rear eyering, white half collar but lacking the white spots at the mantle as shown in others' photo of sooty flycatcher  ??? ??? ???

Looks like Asian Brown to me. Too pale below, and too cold and grey above. All bill looks too long and primary projection rather short.

Any white spots on the mantle of a Sooty M. sibirica would only be seen in early autumn while some of its juvenile plumage remains.
