White over blue leg flags, should be from Taiwan?

White over blue on the right leg means it was flagged southern Taiwan.

Hello John,

I think the flags were white over BLACK, not blue.

We don't have Nordmann's or Common Greenshank flagged in Taiwan with both White and Blue flags on Right tibia.

OOPS ! Well, you can add "Colour Blind" to my list of failings... many thanks to LIU Weiting for clarifying that they have NOT flagged any Nordmann's in Taiwan.

White/BLACK - according to the Australasian Wader Studies Group Website (Well worth a visit, by the way) - should be from "Shanghai - Zhejiang".

I wonder where it was actually flagged; - Yancheng NNR springs to mind, but that's in Jiangsu Province, north of Shanghai.

Chongming Dao, 2003. I think that's where and when this Nordmann's was flagged.
