On 3/12 at about 10am, an eagle-like big bird glided in the sky for a long time. It was found by looking from the middle of MaiPo Nature Reserve to the police station.

There was large area of white colour looking from the bottom side. There was also a white band in the tail part.

Will it be a Marsh Harrier? But there was no V-shape in the flying.

The pale head and brown collar are good feaures toidentify this bird as a female Marsh Harrier.

Thanks. It's really difficult to distinguish between male and female.
