Hello,
I saw four of these little buggers in the undergrowth at Tai Po Kau yesterday (May 18, 2003). I have never seen this kind of birds before but I am writing to ask if you could help to id it correctly.

Is it grey-cheeked fulvetta?

Yes, it is Grey-cheeked Fulvetta.

They are almost certainly escapes from captivity, or are derived from such birds.
