Is this female white-tailed Robin? but it has some white strip on wings?

Hi,

Some tips for you to do your own research.
1. don't think about rarity at first
2. look for the common residents
3. look for major family characteristics, bill shape..etc
4. observe the behaviour
5. allow for individual variation
Try to look up the book once again, don't give up easily.
Think this will help in giving you more fun in bird watching and identification.

The first one is look like a Bunting ::) but the tail is special ::)

the sec one is like female Magpie Robin ::) but the color more brown ::)

Hi,

You are getting close!
1. aside from bunting, sparrow also show conical bill. And most bunting are winter visitor, it is a bit too early for them.
2. Aside from female, please think about juvenile at this time of the year. Most residents are breeding. You may pay attention to the color of the gape. Most young birds have yellow gape.
Sincerely hope this kind of research will add more interest to your bird watching.

I also think 1 is a kind of sparrow, but what kind of sparrow have forked tail ::)
