Today was my first day out with both the Mk II and EF600. I too am quite pleasantly surprised about the quality of images with stacked converters. Although when I tested it at home, I known they look good. ;D

Here is another shot with its tail and an open beak... ;)
Though I "only" used a 2x for this shot... ;D

WOW :o, 1DmkII(1.3x) with 600mm + 2x +1.4x = 2184mm :o still lot of details. 600mm.........600mm.......... :-/

Stunning quality for stacking converters... :o
