Title: Re: Shoveler (琵咀鴨) Post by KK Hui on Sep 23rd, 2004, 7:54pm Good capture, Angus! ::) You're pushing the envelope with stacked converters on moving subject. A bit noisy probably due to aggressive cropping ... KK Hui ARPS www.geocities.com/kkhui_001 |

Title: Re: Shoveler (琵咀鴨) Post by Anguslau on Sep 23rd, 2004, 8:23pm Yes, I think I have cropped too much... :P But they were so far away..... ::) To be honest, I thought the pictures will be totally unusable at the time I take them because I can hardly see anything in my viewfinder. But quite surprised to see that at least there are some details in the birds, though they are still very small... :) |

Hm...........so the resolution of 1Dmk2 is very good since the image can be seen with highly cropped + stacked converters. |

Title: Re: Northern Shoveler 琵咀鴨 Post by Anguslau on Sep 24th, 2004, 10:51am Daniel, I suspect the 20D would have similar resolution since its pixel count is the same. You also don't need to crop as much due to its larger crop factor... :P Want to try one some day.... ;D |
