Please look at this photo - its size is only slightly larger than Cattle Egret:

Although the lower jaw appears not as big, but the length of the gape line above the white part of the lower jaw is shorter than that of a Great Egret.

From the length of the neck and bill, the bird that you shown originally was certainly Great. I suspect the one that I photographed was an Intermediate - still investigating.
