Daniel,

The wing position in both shots are great!
It's unfortunate the birds overlapping is way too much in your first picture. I must admit taking group flight shot for artistic feel is never easy ... :(

I llike the color which shows the subtleness of shorebird.
#1 wings like soft velvet to greet Winter is near.

I've tried a number of times before, mine were always very chaotic... :P
