Why not consider as a "common snipe" with the prominent tail projection and the supercilium is narrowed than the eye stripe at bill base.

Thanks. We are indeed not 100% sure of the identification. Resting Snipe is really difficult for us. We thought it was Pintail/Swinhoe snipe because of its "shorter" bill and relatively narrow and pale back longitudinal stripe.

Attached is another snipe with longer bill for comparison. We are quite sure that this one is Common Snipe since we regretted to have flushed it away. As a responsible bird-watcher, it is not good to flush snipes in order to confirm identification.
