This is a good subject for a mystery bird competiton

The key features to identify this bird are:

a) the pale tip to the dark bill and
b) the greyish coloured head contrasting with greenish back and wings.

If you could see the leg colour too that would help, but as you cannot, no use to rely on it!

Who knows the answer?

Dear 祖葉

Your collection of photo's around Mong Kok should encourage young bird watchers, that you dont have to go to Mai Po or Tai Po Kau to observe interesting birds.

Keep up the good work, as it is only through photos like these that the idea of conservation can be spead

In fact this is a Pale-legged Leaf Warbler.

Arctic Warbler has a longer yellow bill with a dark spot on the underside.
Yellow-browed Warbler usually shows stronger wing bars and pale edges to the tertials.

The distinctive pale pinkish legs can be seen in the second photo, but the key characteristics I mentioned in my first post should be enough to identify this species.
