Hi Bob,

Because you don't know the Chinese name of Owl means "Cat-head Hawk", Cherry is correct that there was a cat walking below the owl at that moment.

Sam is a Brown Fish Owl released by Kadoorie Farm. Jemi, John and I hoped that what we saw was not a released bird. Therefore we wanted to see whether it got a ring on leg. Luckily it was not Sam!   ;)

The owl's head does look like a Pekinese dog's head, doesnt it?
We also saw another species with a head like the owl.
