I don't understand the term "record photo". To me, this is a wonderful photo. First, we have so few photos of this subspecies (and we know so little about them). Second, this is a photo well taken. May be you can make a few fine touchs on it, but overall, this is still a photo of excellent quality (I can imagine the difficulties of photographing the bird).

I would recommand photo of this sort to be used in the "Photoguide to the Birds of China" that I like to see published in 2-3 year's time. In that case, I recommand you to spend more effort in taking much more "record photos".

Nice picture. In birdwatching, one problem is to give the right name; therefore is-it a Barbary Falcon aka Shaheen Falcon or falco pelegrinoides with 2 ssp: Falco pelegrinoides pelegrinoides and faco plelegrinoides babylonicus?

Two were seen today but I could take the pictures of only one of them. It appeared that this one was not the one I saw on 19 June 2005 judging from the streak pattern and the colour of the eye ring. They stayed for a short while and then flew across the Tathong Channel to Tseung Kwan O.
