KK, stacking converters and still sharp! I'm surprised you could see the image well enough to focus. What sort of speed did you get?

More shooting data here ...
ISO 800, 1/40s, f/16, IS activated and manual focused ;D

With long lens technique and with extreme care exercised, sharp image is attainable provided that the subject cooperates as in this case!

Thanks KK. Do you think 800 is the ISO limit for quality images? I have never shot beyond that and normally try to shoot at 200 but I guess shutter speeds here would have been impossibly low.

500mmX1.3X1.4X2X(CROP?)=1820mm+1/40s+ISO800=still sharp and clear
