Title: Re: Amur Falcon on Lamma Island Post by miket on Nov 20th, 2005, 11:27pm Looking more closely at the upperparts, with pale tips to the median and greater coverts, perhaps it's not an adult female. Mike Turnbull. |

Title: Re: Amur Falcon on Lamma Island Post by Paul Leader on Nov 21st, 2005, 10:03am It is a juvenile (extensive buff tips to the upperwing). However it must also be an escape the tail shows classic cage damage, and the missing primary on one wing is also atypical of a wild bird. |
