I went back to Lamma after an absence of 3 weeks and all the Little Ringed Plovers are now in breeding color. They all look very handsome. Neil.

nice catch after a long break ;)

aren't their breeding season in May and June?
sorry i am clueless on how early birds changes their breeding plummage. Anyone can enlighten?
