First thing first ... Congrats on the new D200 and the lens, Guy!  ;D

Now the image ...
Great pose captured despite a tad dark and noisy on the subject. What was the ISO setting then? And how much was the crop?

My first try at a flight shot...... not great I know.
ISO 200 & crop is about 25% but with 1.7 converter (forgot to mention) - was close to evening, in reasonable light & moving veeery fast - focus locked on, but I need my Egrets to work out the best settings over a few days. ... but not very many around

Thanks Hendrix, am having a bit of trouble getting to grips with the speed of the camera & lens after the D70s & 300mm F/4 (13yrs old) - is a bif difference
