Hi Uncle Tall,

It's difficult to be certain, but I don't think this is Long-tailed. I think it's the Arctic that came close to the back of the boat. The white above the base of the bill is diagnostic in fact

This was an interesting bird, in its 2nd summer,I think, and not yet in full adult plumage. Note the barred underwing.
