Title: North American Waders Post by Uncle_Tall on Apr 10th, 2004, 10:53pm Before my slides deteriorated too much, I guess I shall share with you some interesting North American waders that I have seen in the second half of 1999 when I stayed there. Some of them might turn up in Hong Kong as vagrants, some are regular migrants, while some are posted for interest. The exact date and techincal details was not recorded. They are from postive and scanned thru film scanner. Title: Re: North American Waders Post by Uncle_Tall on Apr 15th, 2004, 8:36pm Thanks Koel. Sure it was a Mountain Plover in breeding plumage. Corrected. The exact site was Pawnee National Grassland, Colorado, wherer we also saw Burrowing Owl - our first owl in the wild :o ! |
