Dear Uncle Tall,

The second photo looks like a Thick-billed Warbler to me. Thick-billed Warbler have a pale lore, no clear supercilum, and a long-tailed short-winged structure. Overall it has a structure that resembles a Strike. Please check.

We do think that it is a thick-billed warbler. We have really learnt a lot from this trip. There are also two other external features separating it from Oriental Reed Warbler:
1. Oriental Reed Warbler has black tip in upper and lower mandible. Thick-billed has no black tip in its bill
2. When singing, oriental reed warbler shows red color inside its mouth

The vegetation that these 3 birds stay are also different.

For the spring song, they may sound similar(ga-ga-gee-gee-ga-ga-gee-gee....) but with the following difference:
Black browed - higher pitch and more rhythmic
Oriental Great Reed - lower pitch and course
Thick-billed - slower beat and shorter
