A sub-adult Black-faced Spoonbill was seen in Mai Po this afternoon. The new season for the spoonbill is started now!!!

An immature Eurasian Spoonbill was also seen together with this BFS.

This is pretty close to the last year record of 20 Oct 2002 when you spotted the first BFS at MPNR then ...

Amazing on their timing to say the least!

I saw ten today morning (18 Oct) in Tsim Bei Tsui :D

Number reached to 17 BFS at Mai Po this morning.
