Dear cccp,

I would like to understand more information on Chinese Crested Tern, for example, the known/predicted population, conservation news. reason for extinction(almost) etc. Wouold anybody please help as I have tried to search over the Internet and only handful information could be found.

Hoping to know the cct population will soon be recovered.

i did once performed a net search and quite some links with piecemeal information were returned. What I wanna know is an in-depth study on cct, of similar scale as for bfs. are there such kind of study out there? I just wonder why this bird will become so rare and as the global population is so small, will there be problem caused by inbreeding? any plan out there for the preservation of cct?
