The Tern Group has helped in some commercial tours last year, but the number of participants was small because terns are not well known to the public. Perhaps the tour operators have adopted a different approach this year, joining hands with big organizations. Tern watching tour was offered as one of the benefits in a credit card promotion last year. In any case I believe they understand the need for conservation and would not disturb the birds. Alan |
