This Dollarbird on Po Toi today, Thursday 3rd July, is a first ever summer record for Hong Kong, I think.



It did not behave like an escape and was acting quite normally.

As they summer in Guangdong, it is quite possibly a wandering bird that has not found a mate or a failed breeder.
