This is a steep valley heading up Tai Mo Shan from the south side of the Lam Tsuen Valley. The valley contains some excellent woodland and a series of beautiful waterfalls, before the path leads up into the grasslands on the upper slopes of Tai Mo Shan. It is often worthwhile making the climb, as the valley can hold good numbers of warblers, robins, flycatchers and thrushes, especially in winter. Hong Kong's first breeding record of Slaty-backed Forktail was from this site.
Access is difficult - ask a local birder to take you or give directions - you would be doing well to find this site on your own.
