The Hong Kong Bird Watching Marathon 2019 prizes presentation ceremony was held on 5 July 2019 at Ma On Shan Plaza, over 100 supporters joined us. We thank East Asian-Australasian Flyway Partnership (EAAFP) for their fully support, and key sponsor SONY HK. With their support,  Hong Kong Bird Watching Marathon could reach more people, even for more beginners this year.

Hong Kong Bird Watching Marathon is  an important education programme for HKBWS, we encourage school teachers to bring children in bird watching, as well as parents to enjoy bird watching with their kids. We also introduce the "Newbie Delight Tournament" this year, we provide fully support in bird watching to everybody who joined the tournament. As you know about birds and see their beauty and lively you will love them and protect them.

 

Bird conservation is a long-term battle, we together with many other countries and regions took more than 20 years to keep Black-faced Spoonbill from 200 individuals to more than 4000 this year. We need you in the battle, no matter you are good at research, conservation, education and promotion, habitat management, WE NEED YOU! Please keep supporting HKBWS!
