During the day, Shui Hau is a paradise for birds, dragonflies, and butterflies. But when night falls, an unmissable "night party" is taking place among the grasses and fields of Shui Hau.
The frogs and other nocturnal creatures, which are hidden during the day, become the stars of the night. This summer, follow our experienced eco-guides to delve into this nocturnal secret world and unveil the mystery behind every sound!
This "Night Safari Month", we will be hosting two special night tours of Shui Hau: 6/9 (Sat) for adults and 27/9 (Sat) for families. Led by professional nature guides, you’ll explore Shui Hau’s wetlands and farmlands under the stars, closely observe and learn about the habits of different nocturnal creatures — discovering Hong Kong’s biodiversity beyond the daylight hours.

Important Notes:
- If necessary, participants should bring their own snacks, water, rain gear, and insect repellent.
- Long-sleeved shirts and long trousers are recommended.
- Due to activities involving nighttime ecological excursion, children under age 10 cannot be admitted for safety reasons.
- The meeting and dismissal points are close to the village. Please keep as quiet as possible.
- The rural surroundings are home to many insects and wildlife. Please respect nature — do not disturb, catch, or harm wild animals.
