Tai Po Kau Winter 2010

Tai Po Kau Winter 2010

16 Dec, afternoon 2:50~5:30pm
I Think it is appropriate to open a new thread for Tai Po Kau on this cold day.

Seems that birds are sluggish and remained sluggish in the low temperature, they tend to remain in small groups of there own species rather than moving in bird-waves. These were observed for white-eyes, Grey-cheeked Fulvettas, Chestnut Bulbuls. This make a very quiet day in terms of number of birds.

Highlights of migrants:

Scaly Thrush x1
Black-winged Cuckoo-shrike x3
Asian Stubtail Warbler x1
Grey-headed Flycatchers
Pallas's Leaf Warblers
