Dear colleagues, students, alumni and friends,

A Memorial Service will be held for Dr Cho-nam Ng, who passed away peacefully on 13 December 2019 at 2:00 p.m., 18 January 2020 (Saturday) in Rayson Huang Theatre, The University of Hong Kong.

In lieu of flowers, the Ng family would appreciate contributions be made to Hong Kong Countryside Foundation/ The Conservancy Association / The Hong Kong Bird Watching Society so as to cherish and honour Dr Ng’s passion on environmental conservation and continue his legacy. Information on the donation payment will be provided at the Memorial Service’s reception counter.

As the University is presently exercising security check at gate entrances for access to the campus, attendees of the Memorial Service are kindly requested to submit an online registration using this link (https://www.geog.hku.hk/memorial-service-of-dr-cho-nam-ng). Registration will be open until 15 January 2020 (Wednesday).

Moreover, attendees are advised not to drive their own cars to enter the campus but to use public transport instead to get to HKU’s east gate or MTR’s HKU Station Exit C1 (please refer to the HKU campus map (http://www.maps.hku.hk/) for the direction to reach Rayson Huang Theatre).
