The links below include data from the Winter Atlas surveys conducted a few years ago to investigate the distribution of land birds in Hong Kong. Each map shows the distribution of birds throughout the territory during winter (November – February), with darker colours indicating areas of higher density. A full write-up of this dataset, including analysis of the distribution and numbers of each species recorded, is currently near completion and will be available soon.
Apologies to all involved with the surveys for the delay in posting this data.

I was wondering when the write up for these winter surveys will be published? I notice that these maps were posted at the beginning of 2010, I'm not quite sure when surveys were conducted, but the information may be out of date soon!
Perhaps providing the text as downloadable pdf files accompanying these maps would be a good way of putting out species write-up's to a wider audience?
